Tyler Folsom, President
Dr. Folsom designed stereo vision systems for Team Sleipnir in the 2005 Grand Challenge and was leader of UBC Team Thunderbird for the 2007 Urban Challenge. He brings over 25 years of experience to management of embedded real-time systems. He manages research and development projects at Quest Integrated, Inc. (www.qi2.com)
Dejan Cecar, Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Cecar was the lead engineer for West Coast Robotics in the Grand Challenge and manager of Team Thunderbird in the Urban Challenge. He has developed the Psycore simulator/controler that allows one to play back and fine tune all aspects of a vehicle test run. He has programmed driving games for Electronic Arts.
John Meech, Chairman of the Board
Dr. Meech is the founder of UBC Team Thunderbird, which participated in the 2005 and 2007 DARPA Grand Challenge and other events. He is a professor of Mining Engineering at the University of British Columbia. He has been one of the main organizers of the conferences on Intelligent Processing and Manufacturing of Materials.
Ivar Schoenmeyr, Financial Officer
Mr. Schoenmeyr has led Team Cyberrider in the 2004, 2005, and 2007 Grand Challenges. He has founded and is Chief Technology Officer of Aquatec Water Systems Inc. (www.aquatec.com), a pump manufacturing company. Schoenmeyr is also part owner and an officer of Cadent Technology Inc. (www.Cadentech.com), an electronics manufacturing company.
